Parking garage Rozet 2.0

The current parking garage is placed right in the city-center of Arnhem. Somewhat hidden as a typical 1970s residential building, the garage has relatively little impact on the street. This is directly the strength and the weakness of this parking. NEXIT proposes a restructure of the plinth in order to undeline and emphasize the existing building structure. Combined with refreshing graphics for the routing and wayfinding, gives the parking garage a new allure it deserves. In addition to improving the building, NEXIT proposes a 'Solar roof' above the top parking deck, with a steel carport construction and bifacial glass solar panels. This creates a new and sustainable revenue model with an energy-producing parking deck, charging stations for electric cars and energy production for, for example, households or public buildings in the city center.
