About
Our vision for a densified use of the ubiquitous suburban plot is built around the idea of sharing space and caring for each other. Co-habitation on a plot measuring just 50-by-150-feet however, demands an intelligent spatial concept which allows for multiple usage and which ensures mutual privacy. In order to do this we propose to interweave collective outdoor space with a modular building structure. One of the base-modules is to be available for private storage spaces, collective HVAC and a common bike store which accommodates parking and charging of e-bikes. The streetside set-back will accommodate parking for up to four shared electric vehicles. Charging apparatus are located beneath the carport-overhang and will be fully integrated into the green structure we propose.
